The Holy Harrower

It is a paladin’s place to stand against Evil, to smite it in all of its many manifestations. But vast are the forms and nature of Evil and few paladins can stand against all of them or even try. Thus while all paladins stand for Good, in reality they tend to gravitate towards certain callings such as the slayer of fiends or the destroyer of the undead. Rare is the paladin who stands tirelessly in the face of Evil in all of its manifestations, who fights it on all of its fronts and even seeks it out in all of its varied hiding places. It is this paladin that the Holy Harrower is sent to aid. The Harrower aids the paladin in rooting out evil and striking it down, smiting it with the full force of divine might.

Class Features
Tireless Vigilance: The paladin no longer requires sleep. Further, the paladin is now immune to spells and effects that would induce sleep or a similar mental state.

Holy Strike (Sp): The Harrower can bestow the benefits of a True Strike spell as many times per day as the Harrower’s class level. This ability can only be used on evil creatures.

Detect Evil True (Su): The Harrower assists the paladin in detecting Evil in all of its guises. When the paladin uses her Detect Evil ability, if something or someone’s alignment is concealed in any way the paladin is granted a Will save against the affect to see the true alignment hidden beneath the concealing affect. The DC of the save is the spell DC of the concealing affect. The paladin also adds the Harrower’s Enhancement Bonus to her Will save when using this ability.

Lesser Holy Damage: The Harrower imbues the weapon with a lesser aura of holy energy, dealing +1d6 points of holy damage to evil creatures. Unlike a Holy weapon, an evil creature may pick up the weapon without repercussion. This power does not stack with and is replaced by the Holy weapon enchantment.

Extra Smiting: The Harrower allows the paladin to use her Smite Evil ability an extra four times per day.

Righteous Might: The Harrower allows the paladin to use the spell Righteous Might as many times per day as the Harrower’s Charisma bonus.
