Without this feat, a creature must keep moving while flying unless it has perfect maneuverability.
In accordance with the rules section hyperlinked above a creature with Good manaueverability can Hover in place. It would appear that there is some kind of conflict of information. I have no objection if you choose to have a creature requiring this feat in order to perform this action. Just let me know what rules section you plan on following and what you do or do not know so I can go out and verify the correct information for you.moritheil said:Bloodweaver - Is the gargoyle maneuverable enough to hover? If not, you need to describe yourself as flying around. It does make a difference because you might incur attacks of opportunity.

The Fiend Folio text is pretty vague on this. It says "a fiend possessing a creature becomes part of the victim, so it is no longer ethereal. Itmoritheil said:Voidrazor - You know, looking more closely at FoP etherealness I'm not sure where their gear goes when they possess an object. It states that "etheralness ends," but surely the object isn't wearing their gear. It would be awkward for it to just fall on the ground where they wind up. If it's kept in potential, then I suppose that would explain things.
