The Invasion of Mori OOC [3.5][planar][PAUSED]

If it helps, I'm pretty sure there's no errata for Good manueverability.

It's always been able to hover. It's the "hummingbird" level of mobility. Surpassed only by Perfect, which is Air Elemental mobility...ie - total freedom of movement in the air.

Maybe the question ought to be, are gargoyles Good or Average manueverability...says Average in my SRD...but if he's got a feat or item that improves that, then he should be able to hover.

I think his current improvement to maneuverability is from haste.

I checked on the rules forum and most people seem to think Good should be sufficient. It's clearly a case of the SRD contradicting itself.

Thanks for weighing in, though :)

The Fiend Folio text is pretty vague on this. It says "a fiend possessing a creature becomes part of the victim, so it is no longer ethereal. It
cannot be targeted by spells or attacks separately from the victim, including attacks from ethereal creatures." So I imagine the magic items either cease to exist while the FoP is possessing, or they continue to effect the FoP, due to being in the same 'place', but can't effect anyone else.

Yeah, the thing is, you generally have to wear or at least have your items on your person to benefit from them. I have no problem with treating potentiality like a perfect storage where your items are safe until you take your own form again, but just as you can't leave a nightstick or metamagic rod inside a secret chest and use it, or how your items are inert when you polymorph and they go away, you shouldn't be able to benefit from your items when they don't exist.

I'll approve any changes you need to make as a result of this. Originally I had planned to pick up the FF soon after campaign start, read it, and make rulings then, but as you know, RL came up and made that impossible.

Bloodweaver's Feats: (6/6)
Imp. Flight, Flyby Attack, Greater Flyby Attack, Point Blank Shot, Precise Shot, Rapid Shot
Improve Flight increases the maneuverability class by one category. In this case from Average to Good. Prerequisities; a natural fly speed. Can be found in Races of the Wild, page 151.

Haste would double the characters land and flight speed (movement) as well as all the other normal haste related benifits.

-Blood

3.5 Haste just adds an enhancement bonus of +30' to speed, not doubles...

But aside from that, yar! Improved Flight is a good 'un for fliers with Average. For reasons we are now exploring. :)

Ah, there it is. Thank you. :)

Initiative order:

If Silhouette posts, I can start round 5.

I'll be out-of-town and offline for the next two weeks or so (4/18 through 5/4) while in the caribbean for my wedding and honeymoon.

Please feel free to NPC my character in my absence as I'll likely be to busy snorkling to spend any time (web) surfing.
