Mr. Draco: Don't you think that the God you worship is going to cause you some problems? You know, with certain members of the party?

And what price have you calculated for this item:

Fang of the Hunter: (With silencer and flash suppressor equiped; 1125ft range increment)
+1, Distance, Shock, Frost, Corrosive, Screaming Automatic Rifle of Speed.
True Strike on command.
Hunter’s Mercy on command.
Greater Magic Weapon (15 level caster; +5, 15 hours) on command 1/day.
Searing Light (use activated, 20 level caster)- each bullet from Fang of the Hunter also deals damage as a searing light spell cast by a 20th level cleric in addition to all other damage the bullet does.
Its magic only functions in the hands of a character of lawful good alignment.

I think its price should be at least 472,400 GP, and even a little more, since it can't be used, except by LG creatures.

In case you are going to point me to the piece in the DMG that says that items with limitations should be cheaper, you should remember that *this* limitation is an advantage for you, and thus should cost extra. Also, if you say the item should be cheaper, I'd like to know why and what Kal thinks about the way you handled it.

Kalanyr, then can you explain to me why Anab has a +6 Power Boost item that raises *all* his DC's, not just his natural, not just his Mind Blast?

Janos, argue what you want, but i followed the rules for DnD and the item creation rules that kalanyr laid out for me.

Also, personally, it doesn't bother me about my choice of god and how it may or may not affect other characters in the campaign. I had my character idea way before the character thread was created and I saw your character. Besides, if you're so worried about it, why don't you change your character?

In any case, since you show so much concern for the balance of other characters, let me ask a question of my own: How can your character possibly be non-evil?

Because Anabs raise applies ONLY to Spell-Like abilities keyed to charisma. (I see no other ability he has for it to be attached too). Mind Blast IS a Spell-Like Ability.

Draco, it really doesn't bother me what God you worship. But if you are very concerned with your God's cause, and you want to bring justice everywhere, then you're going to have to bring me to justice. I don't know what Kalanyr wants to do about inner party conflicts...but I just thought I should point out that it might become a problem.

And what were those item creation rules that Kalanyr laid out to you?

About the Evil thingy: Have you actually read my history?

Kalanyr, I thought he played a telepath (or at least a psion), and thus he had all his power DC's increase.

Ehm, what do Lightsabres cost? ^_^ You know, Jedi-stylish thingies. And ehm, what are the new kinds of armor (ectoplasmic armor or something like that)?

Thinking of restyling my character a bit as everyone is getting really powerful ^_^

Janos, I've read your character background. I know what, and why, you're talking about. The thing is, I'm not changing my character. I designed my character after an idea I got right after the starting level was announced. I wasn't sure if I would have the time to play then, so I didn't say anything until later. Yes, in retrospect, I realize that if my character finds out he will be obliged, morrally, religiously, and by his background and personal beliefs to bring you to justice. So, I suggest you do one of two things if you're so worried about it: 1) Do a really really really good job at not letting my character know about your background (as a forewarning, he has detect evil at will), 2) Change your character. It's up to you.

As for what item creation rules Kalanyr laid out, it was basically only two differences from what is in the DMG (p243).

1) Extra abilities (beyond the most expensive) on an item that counts against the limit of items worn cost double.

2) The only cost reduction able to be used is that of alignment restriction. I gathered that this was because Kal has his scale of alignments, and if we deviate from our stated alignment, then we will change alignments, and be unable to use the equipment. (this should not be used on every item you have, maybe just one or two depending on flavor)

P.S.- I have read your history. Very impressive for a non-evil character, murdering your family twice... :P

Anabstercorian, incase you didn't see my last post, perhaps get something similar to, Rhino Hide armor, which doubles all the damage for your charge attacks...a must if you want to use that lance-a-lot ;)

No. A 17th level cohort has 100 000 gp (Standard 17th level NPC wealth) in personal equipment. And thats it, if you want to give them extra its from your cut

Sollir he already has a crit multiple increaser, no it does not stack with rhino hide. Both being magical effects.

Armour Later

Exotic Weapon
Medium Light Saber - 2d6 Crit 18-20/X2 Size M Counts as Light For a Medium sized creature. Cost 300 gp. The rest of it can be done with special weapon abilities, feats and psionic feats. (Keen,Defending,Defending etc)(Improved Critical,Deep Impact)
