The Jedi Order. Some thoughts.

Obiwan did act first though since he activated his lightsaber before Jango drew his weapon.

But seriously I thought about it and realized that Obiwan must have talked to the locals at least a little bit. Otherwise how would he have known where to find Jango and his ship?

(And there's *no* way they didn't see what happened - the whole camera thing aside, Boba fired starship weapons out there.)

Jedi a stupid order who bring light sabers to blaster fights.
Alright boys saddle up we throwing together a posse to hunt Billy the Sith and his boys. Just bring your sabers and a few spares incase the batteries run out.

Also the hell's angels need to place vader and dooka in their gang because they like picking bugs out of their teeth.

Anakin just like teenage not to care for his mommy until something big and bad happens. He must have been saving his allowance for issues of play droid.

good popcorn movie but so many holes in plots and bad foreshadowing. Now we know why Vader did not care for Tatoonie because he does want to visit his relatives (half brother).

Queenie chick um Senator chick. Gee reign 2 years or 2 terms as queen. What a country?

Also who has she been hanging out with to know lockpicking one oh one. But she does not like kitty cats.

Also in eposide 3 we find out why vader turns evil. How many times did she go to the hair dresser and tailor. He could have finish building the 2nd death star sooner if he had not had to still pay her bills off.

Also is the republic nice. Think about it. The republic is the north and the separatist are the south. Is it against the republic law that you can only join. And once joined you can leave to form your own government. Hmmm.

All this war and movies are dynastic turf war on who will rule. Queen babe or the emperor.

in Ep4-6 the Jedi (the limited view we got) seemed monastic and morally untouchable (to a certain extant) ...

Yeah, Obi-wan was a paragon of morality and virtue, all right... :)

...what would you get if someone used the force without any real training? Some sort of hedge wizard??

Pretty much. The indication is that someone who does not receive training in using the force is pretty much doomed to never develop it beyond being a very lucky son of a gun - a good mercenary or hot shot pilot, or just someone who knows how to get the best out of dealing with other people. It's not that NO ONE is self-taught - the first Jedi millenia ago had to start somewhere - but the preseumption is you would have to devote decades of self-study to become a strong Jedi or other force user without training, and most people aren't that patient.

Anakin, without training, would have probably eventually been freed from Watto, become a heck of a hot-shot pilot for some company, and ultimately would have become an amoral, "Han Solo" type. That's my estimation, had no one reached him.
