The Kolloseaum: Team Gil's Conscience (DM: Iron Sky, Judge: Luinnar)

OOC: Someone, m2 SHOULD get a save with it's climbing speed, if it's adjacent to the pilar it cannot fall as it is normal terrain for it. If you're referring to my posts with no save comments, you'll notice I didn't roll damage for the fall, just noted that they don't roll save because they remain on the pillar. Sorry if that was confusing

Martelai looks at the spider thing coming closer and is ready. When it stops, he flicks his rod and it is shortly illuminated by purple light.

"You come too close and Caiphon will take you." the light intensifies, but is shining over the warlock instead of web crafter.

"What?! No, not me." warlock takes running start and jump over to the pillar closer to the fighting.

"Brenwar, can you finish the thing yourself?"
OOC: Rapida, if you do kill s1, slide wc2 1 square, try to drop it down :)

[sblock=Actions]
Minor: Curse wc2
Standard: Dire Radiance vs wc2 ref; radiant damage; curse; secondary damage with curse (1d20+10+2=13, 1d6+4=10, 1d6=2, 2d6+4=12) - nat 1, typical when I roll low to hit, I get max damage

Move: E9 -> Athletics to jump (1d20+2=19) to E12 -> E13, gain shadow walk concealment

OOC: Sorry for the confusion. As I said, there was another post where another half spider climbing to the pillar's edge was slid without a save, so I went with that ruling. The phb says you roll when you reach the edge and S1 was already outside it, so there was no edge to be reached and it seemed reasonable. Now that everything is clear, rolling S1's save right now...

Oops, it seems it fails anyway. Down he goes.

Hm, that means it's down in the fog and Brenwar may not be able to reach it...at least not for 15 damage, Rapida, prove me wrong :D

Someone, did you bloody it? I would say yes, from the damage you did, just checking...hmmm, but I have no other enemies cursed and already did my turn...I'll pass on the pact boon this time...

EDIT: just checked, it was unhurt before, Brenwar attacked m1 and wc1
EDIT EDIT: how many of us are online now !? :D

OOC: if Brenwar jumps on it, does it count as a charge? :p

OOC: I didn't. The fall bloodied it.

erm, scratch that, shouldn't it be dead by now? Brenwar did 19 damage two pages ago (I didn't check if it was hurt before that)and you did 33

OOC: It was unhurt in the google spreadsheet. I'll check to see if anyone did damage to it.

Edit: It was definitely unhurt until now.

Cyr again blasts with his rays, but again they are pale. It seems deva's energy is quite depleted. While he does hit enemies, it is weak effect. Not even heavily wounded marauder falls.

Ignoring the spider for the moment, deva bends down and pulls unconcious mage away from the enemy.

OOC: Not sure if this provokes, but it marauder attacks it dies, so everything's cool :)

[sblock=Actions]
Standard: Hand of Radiance vs Ref (wc2; m2; s2); radiant damage (1d20+12=26, 1d20+12+2=25, 1d20+12=17, 1d4+7=8)

Minor: Grab Gil
Move: Drag Gil to O16

*Kauldron taking a running start takes a leap to the ledge that his other two companions were on. This time barely making it. He was getting tired of leaping great distances between platforms with his heavy weight and short legs. The clutters onto the platform and skids a bit sending sparks flying everywhere. Though with quick practiced movements Kauldron pulls a potion of healing out of his belt. Taking a knee next to Gil, he feeds him the potion.*

Time to wake up sleepyhead. We still have much to slay this fine day. Now mind getting up and killing that one over there for me?

*He thumbs over to the nearby scout to the east of them on a platform by itself. He then gets back up into a defensive position.*

Standard: Feed Potion of Healing to Gil.
-Effect: Gil spends a healing surge, and regains 10 hit points. (Gil gains 10 hp, loses 1 healing surge)

Iron Sky If I jump down on the scout can I get an attack off before being flung around by the fog?

OOC:
@Iron Sky If I jump down on the scout can I get an attack off before being flung around by the fog?
OOC: Only if you charge. You can jump as part of any movement, and a charge attack would resolve while you were still 5 feet in the air (first square in which you can reach your target). After the attack you would finish falling, your movement would (I believe) provoke an OA from the scout, and then the fog would trigger.

Or you could charge(attack) and then crash into it for additional 2d10 damage probably killing it. That way you don't get OAs. But I don't think you should do it, you can get plenty of damage with possibility of miss and slide for additional damage.

Good luck!

OOC:
I don't really like the whole jump/charge idea. Seems like Brenwar is going to take a lot of damage for the possibility of me rolling max damage (1d10+5).

I'll post my turn later tonight when I get on some reliable internet, let me know if you guys think I should take the fall/fog (slide) damage for the chance of killing this thing.
