The Lighting of the Death

Reveka looked up into the rain for a moment, standing impassively until the spattering rinsed the blood off her armor. "By all means, let us go inside, and meet the rest of our patrons. Bill leads the party back towards the cart triumphantly.
"Oi! Will! They know what it is! And how to kill 'em!"

No answer.

"Oi Will! Wake up!"

Still no answer.

Veyk stumbles over something. Looking down, he sees it's Will's spear.
He can tell because Will's hand is still clutching.
The rest of Will is nowhere to be found.

( I assume that this is similar to the chicken, so that is how I am describing my actions. )

" Sovereigns! " curses Veyk loudly at the horrifying discovering as he draws back.

" He seems to have been drawn into the spirit realm by the marauder, but they forgot to finish the job... " he says, but then he is struck by an interesting idea...

Kneeling, he pries the the spear away from Will's hand, and in the palm draws the letters W I L L, with a ? afterwards.

Jack examines the hand.

Jack is looking to see if what happened to the chicken happened to Will,

or if it is old-fashioned dismemberment.

"Fiends!" exclaims Rethlin. Rethlin looks around carefully then sighs and gives Will's remains the Silver Flame's blessing for the fallen. "He may yet live, but just in case I have said the prayer for his soul..."
