What are you dying to see again? Demons? Devils?

Yes! Thessel-Beasties!

I had this great little side trek adventure for 2e - the lair of the Thessel-Mage. Basically an insane hermit mage in a swamp, breeeding various critters and making the various Thessel monsters. He had a large stone golem that would take his pets on 'walkies' out of the dungeon. Thessel-hydra, thessel-gorgon, thessel-chimeria, and of course a few of each type as a 'breeding pair'.

Now I can re-make this for 3e! Wa-hoo!

Hmmm - come to think of it, my PCs took pity on the insane old man, and left him alive with simply a stern talking too. After killing his golem (Timmy) and all his breeding stock (all named, of course). Yes! The Revenge of the Thessel-Mage!

my personal list (hey, i can comment, i'm not under any silly NDA).:

;)

i'm pretty curious about the bloody bones, cobra flower, darnoc (is that just conrad spelled backwards?), elemental dragons, fire nymph, scythe tree, and the asswere (heh heh) terianthrope.
cerberus!!!
FLUMPH!!!!!!! (LOL)
some of my own conversions, such as forlarren, frost man, gorilla bear, pyrolisk, and stench kow.

but i could go on and on. :)

As BOZ mentioned, the greatest creature of all is the... FLUMPH! FLUMPH! FLUMPH! Ahem.

I am also looking forward to the whole mess of obscure outer planar monsters that got left out of the MM, like the gehreleths/damodands, nupperibo, and the rest of the daemons.
But that may just be because I like Planescape and using fiends to wreak havoc in general.
I have also always like the necrophidius and the scarecrow, particularly when it occaisionally becomes conscious and intelligent. These constructs seem to have a great bit more flavor than the standard golems.

I don't know if the time and psionic elementals are from previous editions, but they look interesting as well.

Vegepygmies, huecuvas, and numerous other monsters are fascinatingl simply because they are so bizaare and/or twisted.

Flumph
Lurker Above
Trapper

Not slated for ToH, so I've got my fingers crossed for the Monster Manual II:
Water Weird
Myconid
Ixitxachitl
