Most powerful item I ever got? A writ exempting my clerics chirch from paying tax and legalising the mustering of a militant order. Boy did the king regret that one.
Most powerful MAGIC item? Until recently I'd have said a +2 axe or somesuch. Now one of my PC's is kicking round with Full Plate +3, +3 max dex, -3 check penalty, DR 5/magic, light fortification and acid resistance 10. I get the feeling this is turning into a monty haul game...
