I am so stoked about this. I don't care how bad or cheesy it is. Ive been waiting for this for years. Heck, when I first saw the trailer for Sahara my best friend and I were on the edge of our seats hoping it was a trailer for Mummy 3.

Love the Mummy series. While the second one stunk it up compared to the first, it was still acceptable (though only because it used all the great characters from the first).

I'm still looking forward to this one.

Neither of these changes breaks the illusion within the story, IMO. Maria Bello is good actor; she'll do fine. She was great in Payback (1999) and I've heard she was great in A History of Violence (2005).

And I'm not surprised they went with a different actor for the son. Luke Ford looks like he could be Brendan Fraser's kid, and he actually has some acting credits.

Regardless, they still have John Hannah as Jonathan. Changing the actor for that character would have been brutally wrong!

I am looking forward to the Yetis.
