The Rerisen Tower(DM: Iron Sky, Judge: ScorpiusRisk)

Corvus leaps to his feat, charges the Hulk and decapitates it with a roar, encouraging Eithal.

[sblock=Slight Retcon]Technically Yim dropped Rerisen Beast 2 from Corvus' Vengance is Mine before the round started, so I had them pull Beast 1 in and take the attack from Eithal.[/sblock]

[sblock=Corvus' Actions]Move: Stand up.
Minor: Inspiring Word on Eithal (heal surge + 1d6)
Standard: Charge to M15, MBA: 1d20+7+1(charge)=Crit, 12 damage, dead for good.[/sblock]

***

Most of the dead have taken too much damage for whatever foul animating spirits to revive their tattered bodies. The last to dead moan and lash out at Corvus and Eithal, sending them stumbling away while the archer fires an arrow the embeds itself in Eithal's heart - but fortunately doesn't penetrate her armor and thick skin.

[sblock=Enemy Actions]Rerisen Dead 2: Rerise: Success. Slam vs Eithal(-2 prone): 19 AC, hit, 5 damage reduced to 0 and push 1.
Rerisen Dead 3: Rerise: Success. Slam vs Corvus(-2 Prone), 23 AC, hit, 5 damage and push 1.

The last of the rerisen dead finally lay still, their butchered and maimed bodies littering the battlefield around the raging river.

Livia and one of the craftsmen, however, still are stuck on a piece of bridge that's wobbling, almost washed free.

[sblock=Micro skill challenge]You have a micro-skill challenge to try to get Livia and the craftsman off the bridge fragment. 4 successes before 3 failures, DC 18. If you succeed, they get them in safely. If you fail, they get washed away in the river and have to make DC 20 Athletics checks or lose a healing surge (the Craftsman will die if he fails his Athletics check).

If Livia doesn't want to wait for the skill challenge to end, she can just make try the Athletics check. If she succeeds, it also counts as a success for the challenge.[/sblock]

[sblock=Luinnar]Yup, pretty much any skill you can justify. I reserve the right to drop a -2 or -5 penalty on it if your justification seems weak.[/sblock]

Watch out! Kaz yells, pointing at a piece of bridge. Suddenly it breaks away and rushes down the river. Thankfully the craftsman near it was warned in time and leaps aside.

"Surely the water can't stay this high," Livia mutters irritably, as she and the man near her cling to the shaking bridge. She shouts across the divide, "Any bright ideas?"

[sblock=ooc]I'm happy for the mini skill challenge to proceed.

No sign of Cleverusername?[/sblock]

Staring at the eddies in the river, Yimayngurr is certain he detects a series of just-submerged rocks that could be used as stepping stones. He calls out to Livia and the craftsman, "Over there mates! Look, see where that water's swirling? Should be a rock there you can put your foot... Oops! Sorry mate! Just hang tight a bit!"

The craftsman just manages to stay on the crumbling platform with Livia's help after his foot fails to find the stone Yimayngurr thought was there.

After seeing the last of the dead finally fall for the last time, Fredrock removes his shield, and put's up his hammer. Seeing Livia and a Craftsman stranded on what is left of the bridge, Fredrock begins to dig in his pack, finally comeing up with some rope and a Grappling hook. Attaching the hook to the rope, he walks over to the river's edge, Livia! Catch this! Watch out for the hooks!! he yells as he throws the grappling hook. Fredrock sighs as the hook splashes into the river many yards away from it's intended target. Damn. Well, maybe I'll catch a fish now he thinks as he begins to reel the hook and rope in.

Eithal sees that ropes will not do. A guiding hand is needed. She lopes over the pieces of bridge from piling to piling and plank to plank, finally arriving at the Craftsman's location to lend a hand in getting him back to shore[sblock=Athletics]1d20+12=23

This makes the count 2:2 right?[/sblock]
