Looks like Edgar actually read the book and not just a blurb, but it looks like he didn't go all in on the book's social commentary.
If it's more faithful than the original which could EASILY be renamed "The Most Dangerous Game" and still not lose anything, I'm all for it.It's so sad that Hollywood is just rehashing the same stuff over and over and over. Meanwhile I'm sure there's some outstanding scripts with original stories that just end up in the trash.
