I love the Schwarzenegger version, but this looks way closer to the book. I wonder if they kept the original ending. Without spoiling anything, from the trailer it does look like they've at least got elements of it in there.

It's so fkn sad that Hollywood is just rehashing the same stuff over and over and over. Meanwhile I'm sure there's some outstanding scripts with original stories that just end up in the trash.

They're never gonna top The Arnold and Richard Dawson - classic. But I'm sure Stephen King isn't complaining 😃

If it's more faithful than the original which could EASILY be renamed "The Most Dangerous Game" and still not lose anything, I'm all for it.

Arnolds version was classic but very much its own thing, but hewing more to the book I think this looks different enougn from Arnolds version that it will stand on its own - change of name would help

It's like fashion, the second time it comes around it's not for you. It's for the new generation.

Edit: Movies are mostly made for the 14-25 year old bracket.

I saw the trailer yesterday and thought it looked better than the Total Recall reboot. I enjoyed the original Running Man when I was younger. I haven't seen it as an adult with adult eyes. I'm looking forward to seeing this one. I haven't seen The Crow remake. I don't want it to diminish the original. I have my doubts for the Highlander remake also. I just watched the original again last week. I'd rather see it updated with better sound and FX than remade.
