The Stuff of Dreams (Orsal Judging)

"You guys can turn in, I'm gonna go for a walk and try to clear my head and organize my thoughts." Devlin bids the others a good evening and heads out to the streets of Orussus.

"Good evening" might have been a little premature, unless (as the others guessed) Devlin had plans for staying out late. The sun was still high in the sky, and the day was noticeably warmer than it had been earlier. The city could use some rain...it hadn't been long since the last rain, and already dust was starting to rise.

Perhaps a day to think about this would be wise. We don't want to make our shakey alliance with the guards any more unstable by tossing around improper accusations of a recent widow

With that Enialis walks around outside for a bit. Trying to comprehend wise moves.

His stomach growls and he decides to get himself some food. Perhaps a nice meal will help me figure out what it is we should do next.

Devlin spent a fraction of an hour strolling to the Flowing River Inn. Despite keeping a close watch behind, he was not aware of anyone following him.[/sblock]

I agree with you there Ryland. Perhaps we can get some dinner and then head over there. What do you think?
"Sounds like a plan. Maybe we should have the blue plate at St. Arnold's, the bartender there might have some info for me. He has one of my gold crowns and instructions to keep his eyes open. We'll need the wife's address from Eppy also. We should probably contact her first, and then head to St. Arnold's.", Ryland says as he packs the bowl of his pipe.

OOC: Probably my last post. Ryland will accompany Enialis and help out anyway he can. I imagine they will take turns staking out the house to reduce fatigue.

[sblock=El Jefe: ]Devlin enters the inn and makes his way through the common room to the bar. Once he gets the bartender's attention he orders an ale and makes some smalltalk about the weather. After a few minutes he pops the question. "Say mate, I'm new in town and looking for an old friend of mine. She doesn't know I'm in town and I want to surprise her. A mutual friend told me she sometimes stops by here." He proceeds to give the bartender a description of Mrs. Archer and inquires if she's been in recently.[/sblock]

Enjoy your time away, Salix.

Her face doesn't ring a bell, but...

The ale set Devlin back 4 coppers, but at least it was better than the swill at St. Arnold's.

The bartender's brow furrowed at Devlin's inquiry. "We don't get a lot of women in here, so I'm pretty sure I'd remember her", he replied. "This lady friend of yours have a name?"[/sblock]
