"Well, two of the contestants in the Tournoment of Flowers were kidnaped yesterday, and we were hoping that perhaps you had seen something or could try to see something. I can give you as much or as little information as you want," Juliana says.

She opens the door a little further and peers out, scowling.

"I don't just see things by accident, girl. The damn herbs make me sneeze, and I always come out of the trance with an awfull headache. Are you sure you can't solve your problem some simpler way?"

"The monks suggested you immediately, and I have great confidence in such ability," Juliana says. "I can spare some coin as well for your time, and perhaps Kirin can do something for the headache."

Crossing her arms over her chest, Mary grumbles a bit before answering.

"I don't take coin for the visions, but you'll have a use for your coin. I need certain herbs and things to induce the trance state. I'll write you a list."

Carelessly leaving the door open behind her, she heads back into the house. Shortly thereafter, she returns with a shopping list, which she presents to Julia.

"You should be able to find most of these in the general store, or if you're industrious you might be able to harvest some of them in the woods nearby."

"The store, got it. Thank you," Juliana says.

So, Juliana heads to the store with Kirin and a shopping list.

As Julianna heads to the store, she and Kirin come upon Rowan and Boog entering town.

Soon after that meeting, the party is able to establish that the shopping list contains some rare herbs and powders, which will cost 200 gold to aquire.

Boog was displeased with this turn of events, but was willing to fork over his share of the cost just to get this out of the way. If this woman could do what was claimed, it would lead him that much closer to the kidnappers. It would be good practice to use his powers on their minds...good practice for the day when he confronted something much more evil and powerful.

200 gps seems a small fortune to the young barbarian. "I don't know about this. It might be a complete waste of time. Why, we're not even getting paid for this." He fingers his own cash reserve, a mere 6 gps. Barely enough to make it to the next town, have dinner, a beer, and a room for the night. "I can't contribute to this, I'm afraid."

"Maybe we can go ask around. Talk to some farmers. Maybe we can find some clues by the mutilated cattle."

Kirin says "50 gp each? Let me see... I've only got 48."

Boog rolled his eyes. "Ok, then", he sighed. "48 subtracted from 200 is 152. Half of 152 is 76. I can put up 76...do you have the rest?" His question was directed toward Juliana, but seemed to be an accusation aimed at the entire party.
