Rowan is stunned at the prophesy. He stammers, "Did anyone tell her about my brother? She knew about boogy's mind stuff? It's about us, and we...we...let's talk about it on the way to the miller's house."

Rowan grabs his weapons and is ready to go. What does it all mean? Three are trapped. Are these the same three who have hearts of black? Yet, we are supposed to rescue the ones who are trapped. The ones trapped are the ones who are they key to the three villians' success?

"Sure", came Boog's swift reply. He made ready as did the others, while Kirin tended to the old lady.

Boog pondered the riddle for a bit. "The number that bothers me is three", he concluded. "We are four, and the kidnapped victims are two, unless your brother shares their fate. I also don't know what this business about a knight is...would any of you qualify as a knight? I wouldn't. And the three who are trapped might be the same three who would loot and burn, or they might be a different trio. And which girl must rush to aid? Kirin, or Juliana?" He paused for a moment. "Those aren't good clues, but it's more than we had before."

"Listen Boogy. The 'girl' who 'must rush' is Red here. Three seems to be an important number. There are three hostages, and three enemies. Then there are the three of us. The 'knight not last' might mean the knight is one of the first two in one of the other groups. These crazy women sometimes use funny words just to get it to rhyme."

OOC: Beautiful clue there, Patlin. This is an awesome adventure. Fun-o-meter 5!

Juliana heads over to the seer, till Kirin looks over her and says she'll take care of her. "Keep her well Kirin, it appears you are needed here."

She looks back at the men, "So, either of you two know where to get bonds of silver? Sounds like they could be useful. We dealing with were creatures?"

OOC: Juliana has a history with Wererats.

Boog decided to humor the man. True, the old woman's prophecy could be interpreted several ways, but what was that one of the Makers had said? "The simplest answer is the best." Or was it, "Don't multiply your answers? Or "Entities are not to be multiplied..."? Well, it was something like that. "Well, seeing as how Kirin is staying behind", he answered, "I suppose Juliana will have to do. Three it is."

A little asking around quickly reveals that the mill is about an hour away from the village, if one travels on foot. You begin to head in that direction.

"Will have to do?" Juliana says, raising an eyebrow.

She shakes hear head and follows Rowan as they head towards the Miller's.

OOC: Yup, interparty relations at their finest, LOL. A woman stereotyping man, a suspicious Elan, and a stong willed man hating woman ;)

OOC: Hey - Rowan's no misogynist. He treats Boog just as badly as Juliana. And he comes from a society that's pre-woman's lib.

"Too bad Kirin had to stay behind. But we were in a hurry, and she's the only one who knows how to heal people. Also, the prophesy clearly emphasizes the number three."

"I don't think we need to buy bonds of silver. I think the bonds are already there, and in use. If we can free the three captives from them, then we can use them on the werewolves. Although I'd prefer to kill them. The captives are the key to the werewolves plan. Thus we must hurry and free them before the werewolves can finish questioning them...."

Rowan then seems lost in thought. He just realized the last line seems to indicate his own brother is one of the captives. He wishes he had a silvered flail instead of just a silvered dagger.

OOC: Unpleasant and not used to free thinking woman, that's a great combo :p It's all in RP, so no biggie :)

"The last were creatures I met poisoned a poor woman who's only crime was having a man try to enslave her mind. It's possable these captives may face a similar deadly fate."

Juliana draws and examines her silvered short sword, "Looks like I should have made something a bit bigger." She sheaths it again.
