The tragedy of 4e PCs...

Storminator

First Post
We played on Sunday, and had an awesome session. We went hunting some fugitive in the sewers, killing all his undead in the process. Once again, we can't seem to avoid the ragged edge of a TPK. After the first few fights, low on healing surges and low on dailies, we pressed on anyway.

Again, my dwarf cleric was this ->||<- close to dying, but survived with 2hp, and we had a frantic round of heal checks to keep the swordmage alive.

And we leveled! Yay! I get new toys for my PC, and new plans, and...

I picked my 3rd level encounter power. I updated my spreadsheet character sheet by putting "3" in the level box. And I'm done. I thought about my PC out of game for about 25 seconds. :( All I can do now is wait for game day.

:D Yes, I too noticed that I have a lot more free time since 4E came out. Unfortunately, I am spending it on EN World or CM instead of "important" stuff. :p

An island of hope in this sea of tragedy

While I'm sure my brethren on ENWorld include as many crunch loving min-maxers as anywhere, I would ask this of you:

What can you do with this new found free time as a DM or a player?
How could you spend this time in an equally (more) fun way that can support your play experience and that of your fellow gamers?

I spend it reading cases for school.

This feature gets the thumbs up from me! (My players have more time to decide what the hell their PCs are going to do after I pop a revelation at them during a session, rather than if this feat or that spell is more uber.)
