Oirhandir's music sends waves of confidence through the hearts of his allies. He draws his bow and steps closer into the cave, to get a clear shot at the dragon.
Almayce and Iggy both draw a bead on the speeding dragon with their crossbows, and both bolts find their marks. Armored scales are torn away in deep, bloody furrows as the barbed tips glance off the dragon's back.
Rogier steps into the dragon's expected flight path, and brandishes his mighty battleaxe. The razor sharp steel with the power of strong human muscles behind it is more than enough to warn off the beast...
Come around for another pass, but back pedals to a stop, as it comes aware of the paladin's ready stance. Hovering, it floats up to the ceiling of the cavern, where it purrs, chirps and twitters in an oddly menacing fashion.
Just as Iggy comes to the realization that the monster is casting a spell, unbearable waves of magical slumber fall over him and Rogier. Unable to resist and stay awake, they both slump to the floor heavily.
