No can do. The number in that column is the total of 4d6, without dropping lowest. I got my results by rolling 4d6, looking at the resulting numbers that made the leftmost column, and adding the largest three together. Otherwise I'd be adding on a extra d6, and I could end up with twenty-ones and such.Rapida said:That seems like a fair trade to me Blade. Could you show me how you got your stats, the number of rolls has me a little confused. Just use the number of the roll in the left most column.
Hmm, come to think of it I've never done a pure dungeon crawl in a play-by-post before. Good questions. I wouldn't worry about giving away hints too much, after all this module is all about the encounters, right? One thing that might be trickey - who's going to lead the party? We could nominate a leader, but then everything is hinging on that player and if they don't post for a day or two then everyone else has to wait. How about if the first player to respond gets to choose which direction to go in, which door to open, etc? That should provide some incentive for people to watch the thread often and reply right away! You might want to clearly delineate when there are choices to be made, such as:Rapida said:How should I do this? <snip> Anyway any suggestions on making this any easier to show you?
Sweet, to casters in the party. Let's roll in the artillary!Catavarie said:Well think I'm going to try something new to me and play a gnome Wizard, never been an arcana caster as a player hopefully I don't forget anything while I'm creating my character.
I'll go druid instead of sorcerer.Rapida said:Blade I wasn't referring to the total or number of dice rolled I was talking about the roll #. I got it now.
To the party: The party lacks any sort of healing power at the moment, but has 2 arcanes. possibly one of them should try for mystic theurge or something similar? just a suggestion
