There was a rust monster on Futurama

Not really sure which forum this should go in... on tonight's Futurama there was a scene where they were in a veterinarian's office and one guy had a rust monster on a leash.

The Futurama writers are D&D fans. The mention this fact on one of the DVD commentaries. I've seen a Futurama where they had to get past a Beholder (not sure if they used rocks) and there's the episode with Gary Gygax as himself.

Looking carefully, you'll note it was a robot who had the rust monster on the leash -- and the robot was very badly rusted, as I recall. Yeah, that was awesome.

In the episode where all the robots revolt, Fry is looking on a map that looks amazingly like a D&D treasure map including map points called Cloakwood & Dragons be here.

The episode where Prof. Farnsworth is taken to the Near-Death-Star: At the beginning of the episode there is a short film presentation of Farnsworths life and in one scene he is wearing a t-shirt with the words "Dungeon Master" on it (Fry comments this with something like "Uh, nerd").
