D&D 4E Things to do while waiting for 4e hype to fade

1 - Count the number of 3e books you bought

2 - List all the House Rules you or your group wrote for 3e.

3 - Count the number of 3.5e books you bought

4 - Compare all the House Rules that you wrote that are in 3.5e

5 - Convert your characters to 3.5e

6 - Start calling your House Rules, 3.5e & 3e combination 3.75e

7 - Start placing bets to the number of days before 4.5e comes out

8 - Wonder if the books were printed in China with lead based paint

10 - Purchase as many 3.5e books as you can before they are all gone, because it looks like 4e is gonna suck worse then what's his names House Rules.

11 - Wonder where #9 went (to much Dave Lettermen).

12 - Argue with your group about switching, and why you shouldn't or should.

13 - Count the number of House Rules you have written

Have fun guy, I was pretty sick of the 4e stuff last year, this is just a funny way of dealing with the stupidity of it all.

I think it's funny, personally. I got caught up in it in '99, but then 2E chewed, so there was good reason.

And I don't think the 4E hype will fade this time. It's coming out in 9 months.
