Thongs

Was it Larry the Cable Guy or Bill Engval that wondered how women keep the thong so clean. For men, the white thong for men...well the white part wouldn't be white for very long. How do chicks do it? :heh:

It is a rare, rare occasion that I wear "normal" underpants. Thongs are the only way to go. They seem "out of place" at first, but after a couple of days - they're just normal panties.

They make wearing any form of pants, skirt, or dress a possibility without having really ugly panty lines showing through... and - as a bonus - they're totally sexy.

When I was a waitress, I wore them every day... and I wear them for all sorts of activities - from working out to walking the mile from the train station to work.

Fixed that for ya.

Thanks - can't believe I didn't add that in when I originally posted!

Seriously though, how do you get used to it? I get irritated if my underwear starts to ride up, I couldn't imagine something being up there all the time. Does it get uncomfortable at times or does it just become unnoticed?

I don't just to mention, but I do know that they have men's thongs available for purchase. I guess they're comfortable otherwise girls would probably not wear them.

This last sentence is a fallacy - you wouldn't believe what ridiculous garments women will suffer to wear just to "look good".

But on the subject of thongs, I have no experience. They don't look comfortable to me. I don't want to go around with a permanent wedgie. And if your clothes are so tight you need to worry about panty lines, then you need to buy a bigger size. :p

The little bit of cloth that rides up in the thong is much more comfortable than the entire butt of cloth that rides up in normal underpants.

Arbiter put it well here...

I think the idea is that while any underwear is going to ride up anyway, thongs, with less material, present a corresponding smaller problem.

A good thong will also have a special lining along the hem that helps hold it in place without shifting all around...

After several years of only wearing thongs, I just don't notice it. I find normal panties uncomfortable and annoying.
