Knights of NYC Reopen, Exclusive Interview.
After the dramatic shooting and daring robbery that took place not long ago, Knights of New York City, is finally reopening its doors for business.
This reporter caught up with the shop owner, Leandra Zephyrine, when the doors opened this morning and caught an interview. Rare indeed, since it is well known that Miss Zephyrine seems to avoid speaking with the press.
Her responses were shy, but there is a charm about that French accent that simply can not be denied.
Angel: “Miss Zephyrine, today is the reopening for Knights of NYC, what do you hope to see happen?”
Leandra: “Ah.. oh.. well, I should simply hope that it does well, and our clientele have no concerns regarding security..”
Angel: “Actually to be honest, I don’t think our readers have any interest in the shop or the plans for opening. So let me get to the real question on everyone’s mind. Tell us about your recent engagement to Mister Wagner..”
Leandra: “I.. oh. Uhm.. James. Call him James, non?”
Angel: “How do you know James?”
Leandra: “Oh we.. ah. .had been friends for a time, a few years now that we have known one another for company. Even before, we got along well.”
Angel: “Alright. So tell our readers about your engagement to James.”
Leandra: “.. We are very happy, to be promising our lives to one another, oui. It feels, good.. right.”
Angel: “Do you have any concerns regarding some of the issues that have been raised, namely the difference you share in age?”
Leandra: “.. well.. ah.. you see, anyone who cares about us, won’t mind. We understand that we are not.. ah.. as you say a typical or common couple. But we are happy in one another’s company. So those who are our friends, and wish us well.. well they will just be glad for us, without letting it .. ah.. bother them”
Angel: “When is the date?”
Leandra: “The.. date?”
Angel: “When is the wedding?”
Leandra: “Ah, we have not decided as of yet. But we will send out invitations, to even the press. We are.. we have no wish to hide the union, and will welcome those to witness it.”
Miss Zephyrine disappeared into her shop then, but not before she had sated at least some of the curiosity regarding her engagement. This reporter, is hoping she can be on hand to witness the event in person. If so, be well aware that photographs of the union will grace the front page of the NY Inquirer.
