Tomb of Horrors, White Plume Mountain - What would you have WotC update next?

My exact reaction when I first saw it in the store.

Back in the original Greyhawk Campaign, towards the end of 1 ed, TSR was taking many of their "series" modules and putting them into softcover books. About this time, they started selling what they referred to as a 100 level dungeon (also in soft cover).

Another vote of confidence for Keep on the Borderlands--gotta love the Caves of Chaos.

For a Realms twist, also City of Adventure, i. e., the source for the original SSI Pool of Radiance gold box CRPG (worlds away from the 3E Myth Drannor Pool of Radiance-based module & CRPG). Phlan still seems to be in a state of flux where it could work for the current Realms (though its intended sequel, Curse of the Azure Bonds, may not).

Keep on the Borderlands, Ghost Tower of Inverness, Lost City, and the Slavers series. Those would make me very happy in 3.5 form.

I can't get in on the Barrier Peaks love, though. I dunno - the technology flavor bothered me 25 years ago, and it still bothers me today.

Hrm...

There's a lot of good suggestions here...
But I always had a soft spot in my heart for Isle of Dread.

Keep on the Borderlands, Isle of Dread, White Plume Mountain, Tomb of Horrors, and Expedition to the Barriers Peaks are the first adventure modules I played in way, way back twenty years ago.

I would like WotC to actually DO an update of Expedition to the Barrier Peaks Instead of the half-hearted attempt to upgrade some of the tech items. I never got a chance to run that scenario back in the 80s, since I was more of a player than a DM, but now that I almost exclusively DM I can find a way to work this into my campaign.

Failing that, which it looks like they have, I would like to see Keep on the Borderlands updated, with possible ways of allowing higher level characters go through it.

Well, I believe Barrier Peaks is about to get some sort of loving, along with D20 Future, so it looks like this thread was at least partially precient.

I got no beefs with them tying the updates to books. Come on, it's a free module. Pulling out the other stuff isn't terribly difficult.

Keep on the Borderlands would be jammy. As would Lost City.

What's that module where the party goes off into the jungle to find a lost temple? I can never remember the name, but I liked the adventure.

Oh, and Cult of the Reptile God is always a fav for me. Love to see that one updated.
