Do anyone knows if there will ever be a conversion of the tome of horrors from Necrogames to 3.5?

If you have bonegarden, Trouble at Durbenford, or go to Scott Greene's website you can download a lot of ToH1 monsters that have been updated to 3.5. For more info go to Necro's messageboards and go to the Tome of Horror thread. As for a ToH1 3.5, not that i remember hearing about.

i don't beleive there is an official "what we're doing with ToH 3.5" yet. i guess there are some behind-the-scenes goings on that will determine the fate of such a thing. :)

Well, I hope they either make a web expansion similiar to what Wizards of the Coast did for Monster Manual II ando ther books, or come out with a new book.

My DM is converting it for use at a con. Best to my knowledge, he had to convert everything on his own. Hopefully I'll get to test it :D

Well I did start with the conversion that is in the Enworld library, but I then increased the power level of the conversion to match what I felt the initial intent of the module.

I felt the person who initially did the conversion did it to include it in a campaign, and I wanted it as a one shot convention module which makes for a different feel and power level.

My opinion is that any party that attacks the demilich is begging for a TPK, and that was how the original adventure was designed.

For any of you who doubt this read the encounter description in the original module and then read the sample characters and you will find that no one has a weapon that can touch the demilich.

A few examples of things I changed were..

Made the demilich a full demilich as described in the Epic handbook
Changed vipers to black mamba's from the tome of horrors

I am also planning on altering some of the traps using the Traps and Treachery series from Fantasy Flight Games.

So I didn't do it all by myself and a thank you to John P. Gregory (moon_wizard@yahoo.com) for his initial work which fleshed out many of the encounters.
