Tome of horrors for 3.5?

i've seen this sentiment reflected many times so far... but i don't know how far that would go towards selling a book the way the company would like. still, you never know...

As much as I'd love to have a revised TOH, if I couldn't have that, I'd like an update document to add in the feats, LA, and other tidbits like WOTC did for their books... I do NOT want to buy a PDF just to get an update...

This is the boat I'm in. Creature Colllection was a little different than Tome of Horrors though. See Creature Collection, despite the good ideas, was severely broken. Tome of Horrors is just a 3.0 product. I can see the difference but would still like an update and figure if WoTC could provide one for free, and I keep hearing how most of the work is already done, I don't see why there's an issue.

If Necromancer feels it's not going to sell as a hardcopy, no problem. Take the effort that's already went into it and provide the PDF that updates the goods.

Maybe, just maybe there may be other reasons why they can not release. Contractual, legal, etc....

Something will be done with Tome 3.5. All of the work on it is done, and its a lot more than the updates WotC supplied for their books (not saying there is anything wrong with the method WotC chose at all, I just did mine differently is all). As for the issue holding it up, I wish I could elaborate, but can't at the moment. Suffice to say, it is updated, and the fans will get it one way or another.

it's probably a legal reason, folks, or at least the kind where you can't just say "well screw you, i'm going to do it my way anyway!"
