Tome of Treasure and what is "core"- I am a little worried

Your FLGS charges full cover price‽

On new books? Of course.

On books that are over a year old, or haven't been selling well I might ask if he thinks the book warrants a discount. Most of the time he'll take off a bit.

But the point is that I value what my FLGS offers to the gamers of this area, and I try to help out when I can.

Is that so hard to imagine?

I suspect the reason he asked this is because MANY FLGS (And comic stores for that matter) give discounts to repeat/frequent customers. Both the stores I go too, for instance, give me 10% off any purchase so long as I dont use a credit card.

Optional yearly stuff:
PoL setting adventures $25
A Campaign Setting $35-50?
The Campaign Setting's Adventures $25?
Don't forget general old campaign supplements.

As far as what is "core" and "non-core", my guess is that anything non-setting specific will be called "core". This way, Incarnum is just another powersource, Shadow is just another powersource, Truename is just another power source and they are all "core".

That's how Mongoose sets up their Runequest products. Anything that is non-Glorantha, non-Pirates, non-Erlic, non-Harkmoon, etc, is designated core and has the same general look to the cover. Monsters II, Spellbook, Arms and Equipment, etc are all Core Runequest.
