That's what made it so good, I can so empathize with her.

Oh yeah. Good painful, but painful nonetheless. Like Welcome to the Dollhouse, one of the scariest horror movies ever made.

Welcome to the Dollhouse was scary, but not exactly horror. ;)

Then there was when the gang got to the railroad tracks and Buffy started arguing with Willow and Xander rather flatly said "Uh, girls."

I believe the quote was "Hey, Crazy Ladies!" and gesturing at a suicidal Dawn.

Was it me, or was that whole train scene kind of visually goofy? My wife and I were watching Buffy jump on the train and were thinking..."well, what's she gonna do there? Watch Dawn get squished?" It just seemed badly paced. But overall, a hysterically funny episode, when not excruiatingly painful. The whole scene with Xander and Buffy acting as psuedo-parents was darkly comic, too.

I thought it worked. The other train was faster so she got on it to get to her sister faster. When she jumped off the train at least she fell down and didn't land on her feet running.

A second that the episode was definitely cringe-worthy.

This episode did have some hysterical lines thought.

Scene: Buffy, Xander, and Willow are in the Bronze and they spy RJ dancing with some slut.

Buffy: I mean look at him. Look at the girl he's dancing with! Is that shirt painted on her?

Xander: Come to daddy! Daddy likes...

The girl turns around and its Dawn...

Buffy: Dawn!
Xander: Umm...about the daddy thing...um...
Willow: I'm right there with ya.

That's paraphrased...badly...but I rolling off my couch I was laughing so hard.

Lighthearted humor, it is so good to see it back. In my opinion this is what has been missing for a few seasons. I hope to see it continue through the rest of the season.

I thoughly enjoyed this episode except for the train scene, it was horrifically done. I too thought how is it faster to jump on a train, and climb to the top to jump off, land on your face, get up and pull dawn off the tracks. It was poorly executed and unbeccessary drama. I guess now that I think of it, it might have meant to be funny and I just missed it.

Oh well, it was the way he said it that I liked.

At first I didn't even realize they were so far away and once I did I wondered why she didn't use the car. After all no one ever shuts cars off in TV land (or close doors), but mysteriously they always have to start them when they get back in.

I loved Dawn's insertion of "No one expects the Spanish Inquisition!" while she was talking to RJ.

Also Willow's plan to turn RJ into a woman was quite funny. A fun episode, nice to see one of those back after last season.
