I liked Bloodrayne in a B movie sort of way. Not up to the quality of Hawk the Slayer or Sword & the Sorcerer, but better than movies like Deathstalker and such.
D'oh, forgot to add that I think this should be better than Bloodrayne. I mean, while you lose the really hot leading lady, you gain a guy who actually seems to know some martial arts. And of course, it has Burt Reynolds in it. (Hopefully Dom DeLuise will make a cameo appearance)

I literally couldn't force myself to sit through more than half an hour of Bloodrayne, I thought it was that God-awful. And this is coming from a guy who did manage to sit through such execrable and utterly valueless turds like Alone in the Dark and the second Crow movie.

While Bloodrayne was a pretty bad movie (I'd give it a 4 out of 10), it really did give me an early 80s low budget fantasy movie feeling. Especially the fighting. You don't really see that nowadays, it's all CGI (BR did have CGI, but mostly used for the sets, apparently) or wirework. And beyond that, it had the bad acting from people you vaguely recognize, silly names, and formulaic plot. More goofy than campy, but enjoyable, I thought.

so far I've liked just about everything I've seen him in. (course I've never seen the original game past the first room where I couldn't open the door, so I'm missing a lot of what Boll is screwing up I know)
I still am going to see it.
