Oh, and according to IMDB, Peter Cullen & Frank Welker will be reprising their voice roles from the original cartoon (of Optimus Prime/Ironhide and Megatron/Soundwave/Laserbeak/Mirage, respectively).

Booyeah! Now if they can just get Chris Latta to reprise his role as the voice of Starscream, the movie will be indescribably perfect!

Can't say "Why", but "How" was cerebral hemorrage.

Fortunately, Doug Parker (the guy who voiced Terrorsaur on seasons 1 & 2 of Beast Wars, and who does the voice of Tidal Wave on Transformers: Energon) can do a very good Starscream.

It's also murder on his vocal cords. It's for that reason that he had to quit Beast Wars, because voicing Terrorsaur was damaging his vocal cords. Starscream would likely do the same, seeing how their voices are similar.

And yeah, Chris Latta is as dead as a doornail. According to Cullen, it was because of drug use.
