Ok, im trying to make a 3.5 Forgotten Realms guy...... the setting is Midnight and Im using points, im making a rouge guy, hes a well known Burgler that steals only Rings, necklaces, etc., anyway, After he steals from them, he sets 1 part of the house on fire using a flare arrow and then leaves a message that has the his symobol which is a picture of a Black Eye. Hes is part of the Black Eye clan(I made it up) and he is 2nd to last in the ranks of the guild.
I need some excperts out there to offer me some ideas about how's I go to make this guy in 3.5 D&D, and hes only level 1.... email me at ekoc@sbcglobal.net or just give me a post on here.....

Nononono. There was a mage in the realms that called herself Midnight (she later took the place - and name - of the previous goddess of magic, Mystra), but that has nothing to do with Midnight, the Campaign Setting.

So this is a Midnight Character? Forget about necklaces and rings - they are useless. You can't eat them, and people just don't get stuff just because it's shiny. Gold pieces have become meaningless, too. People barter. You can get a half-decent price (relatively) for diamonds because they make good ammo for a sling.

And no frivolous use of magic, either, because those not bowing to the Shadow aren't allowed to use magic (or amass knowledge, or own or carry weapons, for that matter), and the only god's (Izrador, the most evil god of all, who veiled the material plane so the other gods could not get through) priests - the Legates - have beasts that can sense spellcasting for a mile or so, and they hunt down those who violate the Shadow's laws.

I suggest you borrow the Midnight Campaign Setting and read through the character creation sections, maybe through the whole book (it's great reading) to get a feel for the races, classes, and other options characters have.
