"Tso-Nah has the stronger attack and makes good use of the location of the match, but Ratasal has the more elegant move on the whole; it flows well through both attack and defense. Point to Ratasal."

Three flags Ratasal, two flags Tso-Nah.

(Tso-Nah has one Bribe Judges available, which he may use to allow one final exchange of blows.)

(Note: Each of you has played a Sea move during this bout, so each of you gains 1 yen. Sorry about not noting that for you earlier, Kalanyr.)

I'm relatively sure I have 2 bribes available, being a tier 3 and all. Not sure if it's worth it, as he has 2 Yen moves in his arsenal, and Hard Hitter and all. Would result in net losses. Nope, no bribe, hand over the 4 yen, for a net depletion of 3.

Sahiro Tso-Nah
Silver Sash 0
Powers: Signature Style (Mantis), Signature Location (City), Arena Fighter, Profiteer, Bribe Judges (x2), Master of Wealth
Yen: 3
Items: --
Record: 2 wins, 2 losses
LOSS to Shiba Temuro. Gained 4 Yen.
WIN against Sanctus Togashi. Gained 1 Yen, advanced to Copper Sash 2.
WIN against Shiba Temuro. Gained 1 Yen, advanced to Silver Sash 0.
LOSS to Ratasal. Lost 3 Yen.

(Correct; you had two Bribe Judges. My mistake.)

Three flags Ratasal. Victory to Ratasal!

"Ratasal, you are now a Gold Sash 2, with a record of 10-1. I disapprove of this whole matter of involving money in challenges; it makes a mockery of honorable battle. Nonetheless, you are victorious.

"Tso-Nah, you remain a Silver Sash 0, with a record of 2-2; you have given your opponent 4 yen, in accordance with the way of the Sash, to retain your rank. You show great promise as a warrior, and would have won if not for your opponent's corrupt use of yen to shore up his otherwise inadequate fighting skills. I hope that you will not give in to the same temptation, and wish you luck in future bouts."

[ooc: I'm seriously considering switching to the Honor Path, as I think it really fits Tso-Nah more, even though he is a bounty hunter. Maybe on the battle in which I advance to Gold Sash, that way it won't feel like I've lost anything. :)]
