TSR TSR CON is running at the same time as Gary Con in Lake Geneva

Wait, hang on. "You give me money and I'll people into my con for free"? How does that work, like, at all? Was there some twisted logic that would have this benefit Luke in some way?
It's crazy, but the theoretical attraction is that it would be an added value for badge holders that Luke could advertise. Conventions do that sort of thing for valuable things...but LaNasa continues to fantastically overvalue his offering.

Why restrict yourself to those options?

You can go to the museum near @vincegetorix and eat HISTORICAL LEFTOVER CRANBERRY SAUCE!

It gets a real tang after 60 years. I hear '34 was a great vintage.
Hey, actually cranberries are pretty great when not in some sort of gelatinous blob in a can (that keeps the form of the can even when removed from it!)

Immutable Form. The golem cranberry sauce is immune to any spell or effect that would alter its form.

I remember going there when I was a kid, and I saw how they harvest them by flooding the fields.
I also found a cute little salamander near the basins.

So yeah, cranberries are pretty cool and nuTSR sucks. Pretty sure I wont find any salamander near that stupid con!

I will be at GaryCon, by the way (my first con in years, by the way, and first outing since COVID. I'm hoping the peak becomes a valley by then). however, I won't be masked up all day for 12 hours a day. I'll be masked at the hall, obviously. But I'm only running Chromatic Dungeons for 4 hours a day. I'll spend about another 5 hours or so around the convention, but I'll be taking breaks in my hotel room where I won't have my mask on, to get some rest. So my tactic is to approach the con in bursts between breaks.
I'm sorry, but what?

Who goes out of their house unmasked?

There's probably a 5e setting based on cranberry farming somewhere out there; there's a 5e setting on everything nowadays. Or creepy fan-fiction; there's also a lot of that going on (The new Salvatore's book: Drizzt romance a Unadrow Were-Cranberry!).

Added bonus? It is not managed by toxic ass-hats!

(I think. I'd have to get back to you on this...)
Why is it that when I see the word unadrow I see an emo elf with a single eyebrow spanning his forehead (70's 'stache optional)?

Drow 'stache is always the only option.

What you think is a unibrow is in reality a mustache that journeyed to the upper reach of the drow's face to show his transcending on the flesh.

When a drow becomes a lich, his mustache gravitate around him like an ioun stone.

I would have counter offered $100, which would have been very generous.

Personally, I'd rather stay at home than attend a con with a mask mandate. Wearing a mask all day is a pain in the ass.

I'd also rather stay at home than attend a con without a mask mandate. That's just not safe in the current situation!
We have 6,500 new COVID cases here in Arkansas. I think it's irresponsible to hold a con right now and downright reprehensible for organizers to explicitly tout the fact that they don't require masks.
