D&D General Turgenev's Friday Freebie Maps

Legend
Here's an update of the Devil's Maw map. So far, all of the doors are made from wood. The door to the right of area 2 is moldy and rotten (hence its darker colour). South of areas 2 is a large blood stain. The wooden doors with the metal strips are reinforced wooden doors. I've also switched up some of the floor colours. The purple room with the dais has an orrery on it. Click to enlarge.

Here's the Monday Blues #137 map. Click to enlarge.

Map Details:
  • Grid Size: 38x49 10 ft. Squares or 76x98 5 ft. squares (72 dpi); VTT Size: 1367x1715 px
  • This week's map is the two upper levels/rooftop of a building.
  • Who's Grimlar you're wondering... in my campaign he was a merchant/mage who did biological experimentation on his (usually unwilling) test subjects. Naturally it is up to the DM as to who he is. The versions of the maps with no numbers/labels allows the DM to ignore the Grimlar reference and go with their own substitution.

  • The double and single white rectangles on the walls represent windows.
  • Areas 1 and 22 have stairs leading down.
  • Areas 1 and 13 have statues.
  • Areas 3, 8, and 21 have tapestries.
  • Area 21 has a trap door in the floor.
  • Area 28 is the rooftop with parapets. Multiple ballistae are located on the rooftop.

I think it's medically recommended to NOT cross your eyes after this surgery :ROFLMAO:

But in seriousness, did you do both eyes at once? Or one at a time? My dad did his one at a time, two weeks apart. Made a HUGE beneficial difference in his quality of life afterwards though

I had the right eye done several weeks ago. This was for my left eye. I can now say goodbye to my prescription glasses. Will need to buy some proper sunglasses now.

Here's the October 11th 2024 Friday Freebie map. This is a stand-alone rift/canyon map. Click to enlarge.

Map Details:
  • Grid Size: 42x62 10’ Squares or 84x124 5’ Squares (72 dpi); VTT Size: 1261x1611
  • This is a stand-alone rift/canyon map with a river running through it. The river (area 30) and the flanking cliff faces are open to the elements (but it could easily be an enclosed cave network with an underground river).
  • The black lines with grey strips represent natural steps (the grey strip is on the downward side of the step). I've included downward slope arrows on the steps to show the slope.
  • The shaded area with a dotted rim in Area 1 represents a hole in the cave ceiling.
  • Areas 2 b), 8 a), and 15 b) have statues.
  • Areas 4, 5, 8, 9, 12, 13, 16, 19, and 21 are cliff faces (that are a higher elevation than the connecting river).
  • Area 7 has a rickety bridge.
  • Area 8 b) is a natural bridge with a small tunnel to allow the water to flow through.
  • Area 11 b) has a pool/fountain.
  • Area 15 d) has a magic circle.
  • Area 30 is the river (yes, it's listed twice on the map - it's to show the continuity between the top half and the bottom half of the river).
