Two simple spell questions

Two simple spell questions that I am unclear about:

1) Saving throws versus ghost sound. Illusions receive saving throws if they are "interacted with." What constitutes interacting with ghost sound? It seems that it shouldn't simply be an automatic chance at a saving throw as illusions targeted at vision rather than hearing do not receive an automatic saving throw (you don't get a saving throw the second you look at an illusory wall but only if you examine/poke/prod/etc.) However, I can't think of how one would interact with a sound?

2) Sculpt Sound-Duration is 1 hour per level. Does this allow one specific sculpt sound effect to last for 1 hour per level, or can the caster alter the effect within the parameters of the spell for 1 hour per level? For example, if a wizard with this spell uses it to make the party silent, does he simply keep the party silent for 9 hours? Or, if he is using the spell to keep the party silent but gets attacked by a spellcaster later on (but still during the nine hour duration) can he "switch" his sculpted sound effect onto the caster? The spell description does not seem to address this either way.

Thanks!

1) The only obvious thing is that anyone who hears it is "interacting" with it. Perhaps alternately, people who dictate that they're listening carefully (for location or other details) get a saving throw.

2) This is easy -- "Once the transmutation is made, you cannot change it." (PH p. 248)

1) Trying to recognize precisely what the sound was or where it was coming from would be examples of interacting with a Ghost Sound.

For example: the caster uses Ghost Sound to produce the sound of someone singing. If the PC were to ask any of the following questions, I would consider that interacting with the illusion.

What song are they singing?
Are they any good?
Who is singing? What race are they?
How many people does it sound like are singing?

As a GM, I might just ask them to roll a D20 and then ask them what their listen skill is. Behind the screen, I would actually be looking at their Will save bonus to determine if the save was successful. :) I would also be inclined towards giving a circumstance bonus to the save based on situation, such as a Rogue with 5 ranks in perform evaluating the singing.
