Am I just drunk or is the language regarding the Curse of the Sea completely ambiguous as far Curse Duration is concerned with Spells 1st Level + ?

Cantrip "Curses" the target until the end of your next turn. Any spell of 1st+ gets rid of the curse if it triggers one of the three damage types. There is no curse duration for 1st level or higher spells, because only a Cantrip can trigger curse.
