My grandma had a pretty solid wooden cane. If I had pulled out my Oxford comma and shown it to her, I'd likely have woken up in the hospital.
Here’s one example of why the “act like your grandma’s here” doesn’t work for me. I got my ears pierced around 18-years-old and soon after I visited my grandmother. The second she saw the earrings she asked, “What, are you going to get your d*** pierced next?”

Eh, you either love In-N-Out, or you don't get the hype.

Personally, I love it. It's ... well, the way I think about it is not that's the a great gourmet burger, but it's what McDonald's should be.

My personal ranking of major fast food chains based upon my personal preferences and the likelihood that I will get a quality burger-

1. Shake Shack. Smoke Shack FTW!

2. In-N-Out. Is a secret menu really secret if everyone is ordering off of it?
I'll have to give Shake Shack another go. I ate there about a year before covid and I thought that it was just whatevers. Maybe I just ate at a bad location.

I like when in Fast and Furious that Vin Diesel told the guy that Fat Burger was $2 and in the review in Hotrod, Freiburger was like "no way! it's $4!"

Unpopular opinion: salad - that is to say, anything that remotely looks like a vegetable or fruit - has no place on a burger.

Bun, meat, sauce, ketchup, mustard - OK, now stop there and gimme the damn thing! :)
The basic White Spot Burger is perfection. The pickle on the bun top so you can put it in your burger or toss it. White Spot/Triple Os are by far the best burgers.

It is a complete resource for characters going to the toilet. (Bad news for players of dwarves, goliaths and orcs ...)
Mom sometime says “His face was flushed. But his shoulders saved him”. (And also “when he demanded ‘Do you take me for a fool?’, we could only murmur that nature had come before us there.” I blame my parents for being this way.)

Popular opinion in places like New York where they can't actually grow vegetables.

I wasn't going to fight over it, but I consider Shake Shack one of the worst of the overpriced burger joints that have sprung up. Very very mediocre and unmemorable.

As far as local beloved chain burgers go, Culvers is high on the list of most overrated.
