Anyone interested in d20 supers? Not any specific product but the concept itself. I think the system is perfect for superhero gaming, though not without carrying a bunch of crunchy bits with it. Anyone for or against it?

I'm so for it I'm publishing a d20 supers game in October. :)

Look for some fun Mutants & Masterminds previews on our website over the next few weeks.

Well, you can make that argument about any d20 game. None of them are necessary. The point is, some people want d20 supers games.

Actually, I said that wrong...Sorry..What I should have said in answer to the question was..

I'm not interested....Hero System 5th Edition gives me all I need...

No good food you say? Barbeque, chili, all manner of Texmex, chili dogs, jambalaya and other creole dishes.

Are these things somehow unique to the USA....? I'm confused.

Not unique any more, but most of them originated here. New Orleans (with its seafood and creole cuisine) is the place I'd choose to live if only food (and not weather) were the criteria! Of course, I'd weigh about 400 pounds, but I'd be a happy man.

Mind you, they're no kippers or toad in the hole or haggis, but you get the idea.

Oh - and I'm psyched about d20 Supers!!!

Ah, but the English were eating beef before the US ever existed. By that logic, you can lay claim to nothing with beef in it! Or chicken. Or...well... or much, really. :)

Cool - me too! :)

It is not the ingrediants that originated here, but what is done with them- silly man.

Cool - me too!

The only bad part is the flood of them coming out- all look so good, this is going to be a hard decision... or a huge hole in my wallet.

In two weeks or so, I'll begin a Deeds Not Words campaign using my old high school yearbooks and my own memory of those days as most of my setting material. Four of my five players have their PCs ready to go, and the fifth will come along in the interim.

It's the start of Sophmore Year, the PCs are 1st level and Batman is just a character in a DC comic book (if you catch my meaning).

Tell me about it. I comfort myself with the fact that, other than that dreadful Nightshift Games thing, I announced this before anyone else. It was one week before Green Ronin announced M&M.

It's a shame- we had so many problems along the way that a whole plethora of other supers books sprang up. The hardcovers (like M&M) operate in an entirely different market, so they don't affect this so much, but all those PDFs! Every week another would appear (in fact there were two in the last week, not counting 4C2F)!
