Up with Halflings!

Argent Silvermage

First Post
This thread is dedicated to Halflings. People seem to hate or love them... This is for those who love them and all things Halfling.

I would like to see posts for Halfling prestige classes and PCs. also skills and feats that are especialy Halflingish.

Remember this is for those who like and or love Halflings. those who do not like the small folk need not bother posting.

Bari Applewand

The character I was going to play in Wizadru's Beta game (ie.. Not the Savage Sword of Meepo) was a halfling Necromancer. I loved the Idea. But I got all kinds of nasty looks from the other players. so I changed him to an Elven Cleric. I like the cleric (Argent) but Bari was something special. What do you do when your natural talent lies in an area everyone thinks is evil?

What annoys me about halflings is the way some people play them. Essentially, they're small barbarians/fighters/paladins with high strengths. They are always smaller than average height. Their players just get some kind of stupid kick out of a small guy kicking butt. It sickens me. Sigh...

Do you mean smaller than a normal Halfling or someone of human stature?
Personaly I love the idea of a halfling Paladin with a holy ST. Bernard for a mount. both pet and mount.
Infact I'm going to play one soon.

Well, now I know what my next character'll be! :D That's quite a cool idea! :)
Thanks, he's definitely one of my all time favorite characters. I had originally intended on including some personality and background information for him in that post, but I decided to get some sleep instead. :p In summary, he's your basic troubled kid that went on to have a happy and productive life, with a wondeful wife and a good job. Then the Empire of Iuz rolled through his town. Now he's got nothing to lose, not even his life since he believes that he should already be dead. And he's angy. Very angry.

I also realized the the other day that his background story majorly smacks of The Crow. Then I remebered what his familiar is. Then I smacked myself in the forehead. ;)

Maybe I'll add some more later, but right now I have to go play this character. :D
