Two of my problems with the con idea that I think I could have expressed better earlier, but I was still sleeping as I was typing, are that it hurts multi-class charcters alot, and while percentage-wise that could be considered effectively even it just doesn't feel like it. The other problem I have is how with con damage the effective recovery time from overcasting would be measured in days. What if, since I'm already chocked full of wierd mechanics, I had it do con damage at a rate of 1 point per level of overcast, but had the con return at a rate of one point per hour, or return with eight hours of bed rest? Do you think that would help balance it out? I think it's coming closer to being balanced, what do you think? I really just want to get it as close as I can for now and then playtest it to see what tweaking needs to be done from there. But there's no sense in playtesting that which is clearly broken, as it was when I first posted.
