Urban Arcana Easter eggs(s)

UA, p.199 describes the Swiss Juncture of Gnomes. When I first saw this, I thought, "Hey, that's like the Gnomes of Zurich" from SJG's Illuminati CCG. Then I realized that the organization goes by the acronym... SJG. :)

Dang, this is a cool book. Anyone else spotted any little "inside jokes" like this?

Maybe an easter egg, maybe not, but the caption for the picture at the beginning of chapter 7 (the strangely proportioned drow elves rockin' out) mentions Lestat. Lestat is, of course, a vampire from Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles who formed his own rock band.

Check out the picture of the Living Dumpster in the same chapter. Those posters in the upper left-hand corner are of Zorack from Space Ghost Coast to Coast and The Brak Show.

Another obvious refererence is the Prancing Pony franchise of restaurants. I think we all recognize that name.

On another note, I laughed my butt off when I saw the caption, "Christopher Lewis, Snakeblooded human", because my younger brother's name is Christopher Lewis. He can certainly be a snake sometimes.

Dumpster Keeper!

No one's mentioned the first easter egg in the book.
Maybe it's just me, but the skull on the drow's shirt looks very similar to Wizard's own black mana icon.

Help me out here. I think I'm missing something.

In one episode of Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Zorak and Moltar go out behind the building in an alley to break glass against a dumpster. Space Ghost wants to go with them, to get away from his pestering wife (Bjork, the singer), but they won't let him go.

Toward the end of the episode, for a reason I can't quite recall now, Zorak punches Space Ghost and knocks him out, then to cover for himself shouts, "Oh no!" Moltar chuckles, looks at Zorak, and shouts, "Oh no," but Zorak says perfunctorily, "No."
