Urn Your Pay (Rae judging)

ooc: Doh! See, I told you I would screw up the rules at least once. I wonder how many fights I've gotten wrong, for never having noticed that. :-/

After throwing the flowers, Carlos keeps on chanting, instead of moving or drawing his weapons. I'll edit the post above to reflect that.

more ooc: I don't mind if you want to edit previous posts to update your actions based on subsequent events, but please 1) use strikethrough tags [ s ] [ /s ] without the spaces, instead of deleting what used to be there, and 2) make a new post anyways telling me you edited the old post. Otherwise I'll either get horribly confused or miss your edits, or both.

Gildrim, AC 12, HP 9, round 2 action

Gildrim charges the nearest archer, but as he swings back his sword in a two-handed grip, he looks the man in the eye, and his arms seize up.

OOC: moving to square directly east of Thug 1; 1d20+5=6 (natural 1 to go with Cyian's nat 20)

Ter-raen, HP 6/14, AC 18

Glad that he's gotten thier attention somewhat, Ter-raen clenches his teeth against the pain of the arrow wound, and closes in with the nearest ambusher.

[sblock=OOC]
Move: get close to #3, directly north of him.
Standard: attack 13, damage 6
[/sblock]

Round 2

Ter-raen grits his teeth and closes with the nearest bowman, but his swing only scratches the man's studded leather.

Gildrim charges the nearest archer, but as he swings back his sword in a two-handed grip, he looks the man in the eye, and his arms seize up.

Cyian loads and fires his sling, striking Carlos just above the eye. Carlos loses concentration on the spell, and the flowers fall harmlessly to the ground. Carlos screams incoherent frustration and moves 60' towards Cyian, drawing rapier and short sword.

The thug in front of Ter-raen (3) drops his bow and draws a shortsword, making a vicious cut that Ter-raen blocks with his shield.

The one in front of Gildrim (1) does the same, but his cut strikes home for 4 damage.

The final thug fires his shortbow at Fenenn, ignoring the gnome on his back, but missing the dog entirely.

Fenenn charges and bites the thug engaged with Ter-raen. The man gasps in pain, but remains standing.

Ter-raen 6/14 <--- You're up
Gildrim 5/9
Cyian 9/9
Carlos Cloudsong 3 damage
Thug 1 no damage
Thug 2 no damage
Thug 3 4 damage
Erf 12/12
Fenenn 13/13

Erf AC 16 HP 12, Fenenn AC 14 HP 13 (charged)

Erf gallops forwards towards the thug engaged with Ter-raen. As Fenenn lunges for the man Erf attempts to distract him, but his small dagger cannot draw their foes attention from the real threat.

[Sblock=OOC]Fenenn's attacks hitting AC 16 for 4 points of damage, Erf fails to aide another. Links in last OOC block if thats okay, feeling lazy... This move should place them directly to the left of Ter-raen.[/Sblock]

Gildrim, AC 16, HP 5/9, round 3

Gildrim growls in his beard. He stabs his sword ineffectually at the legs of his attacker, then sidles around him. With a shrugging motion, he brings his shield off his shoulder and into position. "Ah'm ready noo, laddie," he says.

OOC: 1d20+3=7; 5' step NW, ready shield for new AC 16.

ooc: Halford, I keep meaning to ask you whether Fenenn gets free trip attempts, but I keep forgetting. It occurred to me again just now when I remembered that, if he can make them, he gets one now. I looked at your char sheet and I saw the comment on your character sheet about "trained for war" being up to DM interpretation. Yeah. I can't seem to find an answer on what it takes for a riding dog to be war trained, but looking at your training choices and the Handle Animal skill description, I can't think what else you could possibly do to have him be more war trained. So, unless/until somebody corrects us, let's assume that Fenenn is war trained. Which means he gets a free trip attempt at +1 for that bite.
