Vecna: demigod, god, or lich?

The version of Vecna I've come to like is actually somewhat similar to Dracula from Castlevania II. He's transcended his mortality and his body. Several significant bodyparts are scattered across existance, the most noteworthy being the Hand and Eye. The self-styled God of Secrets enjoys the normal deific immortality unless his parts are gathered up and a particular ritual performed that forces him to resurrect, after which it might be possible to kill Vecna. Might be.
