Well, that may be somewhat premature, since it's only had 7 episodes of a 13 episode commitment (not counting the pilot)....but I think that it's a safe bet they will eventually do so. Aqua Teen Hunger Force got a pilot in 2000, and then a series in 2001, followed by DVD releases of the first two seasons this summer. They followed a similar pattern with Sealab 2021.

They'll probably wait to see how well the Venture Brothers does in the ratings first. They may rush them out sooner than that, especially since Venture Brothers is a 30 minute show, instead of a 15 minute one.

Either way, it's hysterical. Ice Station - Impossible! had the funney.

Been catching them and have to say, I hope so! - FUNNY!

The pilot was much, much better than the episodes that I've seen so far.

I think it's because Brock Samson has barely killed anyone in any of the episodes I've seen. Dang it!

What episodes have you been catching? I've only seen three episodes, so far, and the body count has been huge. In the Sargasso episode, he killed just about every one of the pirates. In the holodeck thingie, he slaughtered dozens across time. Heck, even in the benign Ice Station episode, he managed to gut a bear with a buck knife. :)

Well technically in the Sargasso episode we don't know how many he killed. The pirate says, "holey crap you killed [insert name].' So that's just one. The two in the Pulp Fiction segment could be dead, "I told you I'd kill for one of these". Then rest were put to sleep. ;)

I missed like the first 15 second of this last weeks so I saw Race Bannon parachute out but not why he did.

Wow. None of my friends like the show, and one of us actually works at Adult Swim.

I guess it's humor style just isn't my thing. Brock Samson is great, of course, but the rest is rather uninteresting to me.

Did you miss the pirate-ship in flames, with the screams of the anguished? Not to mention his unfortunate captors, searching for the keys? Ouch. "I told you what I do for one of these." No, they only captured him because he killed the first one....that wasn't the last. ;)

I think this is one of the funniest shows out there. It's such a huge cartoon/action spoof. And it's clearly for adults. I think I realized just how "adult" oriented it is when Brock Sampson gets into a fight with the woman he loves and then they end up kissing and he's read to go and she says (and I can't remember why) no. Then he gets up from the bed and... Yeah.

Funny stuff!
