"Yeah, I'm gonna be Batman."

God, this is the greatest thing on TV.

"He dresses like Buddy Holly."

"That's cool."

"Yeah, but I think he does it on accident."

I didn't find 'Victor. Echo. November.' quite as amusing as the previous week, but the scenes of all the villains in the bathroom while Hank tries to dry his pants was pretty darned hilarious. :D

I also rather like it that events have consequences on this show. They could easily make each episode stand-alone and ignore whatever happened previously, which would be funny in its own way, but it's fun to see what they do with their plot developments.

Brock explaining why he's standing in Dr. Venture's living room, covered in blood and completely naked was hilarious. Also, Billy's non-revelation about the origins of his robot hand. :D

Hmmm, I could have sworn I posted something about an RPG based on the Venture Brothers universe on this thread the other day...

Maybe Im finally losing it. Oh well!

The great thing about this show is that, in addition to being really funny, it has a great unfolding storyline (you can just see the epic events building up) and the ramifications of past actions have direct effect on future episodes.

Now just imagine an RPG of this!

Just imagine, maybe working for the Office of Secret Intelligence, or starting out as a new hero and applying with the Guild of Calamitous intent for an archenemy, or playing a villain and signing up with the Guild to get your very own (randomly assigned) superscientist nemesis! Characters with names like Master Billy Quizboy and Mr. Impossible with villains like Barn Unterbeit and The Monarch!

All of the awesomeness of comic book superheroes with a perfect tongue-in-cheek self awareness of how silly it is.

It would be an absolutely GREAT game. I'd like to run it with DC Heroes or something. How would Mutants & Masterminds handle it? I dont think youd need anything other than a basic set of superhero capable rules.

Someone should start a Venture Brothers setting netbook for M&M :)

I just want them to release some toys! I need a Master Billy Quizboy, Jonas, Jr., and, of course, Brock Samson! :)

Actually, wouldn't it be cool if they could make a Sally Impossible with disappearing skin? You know, it changes in sunlight or hot/cold water. They used to make toys like that...

Oh! Or how about ones of the boys that have sensors in them, so when they touch fingers they say, "Go Team Venture!"?

My WORD that was funny (just caught it on Fix)!

"She said I was 'Teh Sexy' whatever that means."

The Monarch was actually pretty together this episode, he actually had some one ups on Phantom. And the Monarch complementing Brock's rear...I just about spit Mountain Dew out my nose.

What a great, great show.

Now..

Ignore Me!

Somehow TiVo missed this episode :(
The next one is listed to record, maybe something else was recording higher on the list. :\
