Beyond the Magic Mirror and Gamma World confirmed?
On the first...I have very little doubt in my midn that WotC won't bring over all the remaining Gygax Advrbture models into 5E at some point, and by all accounts I've heard the Wonderland stuff is Gygax at his best.I see what you're trying to do...

If nothing else, it's why Wild Beyond the Witchlight can still work with the Eberron cosmology.I see what you're trying to do...

Beyond the Magic Mirror and Gamma World confirmed?
Yeah. Two of my favorites. I still remember the Tweedledee and Tweedledum encounter. On the first...I have very little doubt in my midn that WotC won't bring over all the remaining Gygax Advrbture models into 5E at some point, and by all accounts I've heard the Wonderland stuff is Gygax at his best.
I hope they do it well. I've always loved Gamma World. And they already talked about Gamma World explicitly on the DMgm a Gamma World setting for 2024 rules would make a lot of sense, with the current popularity of Fallout.
I certainly think the Dungeonland modules were the best thing Gygax wrote. He really lets his imagination rip (and shows a deep affection for an author that isn't called Howard or Burroughs). And I do think people need to be reminded that Gary wasn't Captain Generic. I think its way past time these were brought back.On the first...I have very little doubt in my midn that WotC won't bring over all the remaining Gygax Advrbture models into 5E at some point, and by all accounts I've heard the Wonderland stuff is Gygax at his best.
Dark Sun was designed, at least in part, as a D&D-ised Gamma World, so I suspect they are thinking of dropping in Dark Sun content rather than actual Gamma World. I don't doubt Dark Sun will try and cash in on the popularity of Fallout though. And they already talked about Gamma World explicitly on the DMgm a Gamma World setting for 2024 rules would make a lot of sense, with the current popularity of Fallout.
That’s the source of the phrase. But genre crossovers in D&D are older than Ghostbusters.I first read the bit about crossing the streams and thought Ghostbusters
The artwork in Dungeonland was primarily done by Tim Truman, with some additional pieces by Jim Holloway. The art was quite good too - anyone know who the artist was? They managed to merge the then-current D&D style with hints of Tenniel.
More Princess of Mars than Gamma World (six limbed insect folk included), and ofdy the main point of Dark Sun was to show off the Battlesystem mass combat expansion of AD&D.Dark Sun was designed, at least in part, as a D&D-ised Gamma World, so I suspect they are thinking of dropping in Dark Sun content rather than actual Gamma World. From WotC point of view, Oz is conveniently in the public domain and not subject to trademark. They could straight up do Oz if they wanted.I guess the callout to Oz is pretty topical given the current movie slate.
