Very, very Sharp images

So, HD TV is the big A-V craze out there, right?

Well, Sharp has already produced a 64" LCD monitor with four times the resolution of an HD set. Sure, it'll be a while before it gets in the consumer market at reasonable prices, but it is kind of sad. HDTV is on the road to obsolecence before it is even widely adopted by the consumer market.

Bad link aside, I'll be skipping HD as it's too far out of my pathetic budget. I'll stick with my basic TV until it croaks and then go from there. Or get a tuner card for the comp and watch TV on it like I already do DVDs.

my wife and I got a mitsubishi 44' big screen about 5 years ago. we found it for $800.00 with a $400.00 rebate at best buy if we used msn for a year. the Hd tv's of comprobable size started at about 3-4 times the price AND THE PICture on ours was better! good to see that the right choice then is stilll the right choice now.
