Only if you can in the moment. Sometimes I can, sometimes I can't. It's better to have a list you can use if you can't think of something on the spot.

I agree it's great to have lists of this sort of thing. Or a few examples. I keep a few "greetings" and "goodbyes" on a list. I find they help me get into RPing mode.
