More or less stopped drinking IPAs. Prefer hopped pilsners or APAs. I'll still drink them bit they're not a buy often type beer.
I love APAs too, but the IPA kit I have with NZ hops is pretty mellow compared to some American IPAs.

Stella the other night. Think I've reviewed it already. 7/10 it was fine nothing to exciting.

Cousins birthday bought a dozen Grolsch gonna share what's left with FIL and cousin and think she's hooking into another G&T.

Grolsch was our favorite generic lager camping in January in the summer heat. Autumn now nit cooler but we're enjoying it. 9/10 in generic cheap lager category.

@payn

Hopped NZ pilsner and damn it's a good one. Nice balance of hops and very slight bitter taste a lot more mild than say an IPA. Mild hoppy aroma. Nice and crisp lager as well thin head rapidly fading.

Halfway through the glass fairly quickly few minutes sorta thing.

Gonna go with an 8.5/10.

"You're Doing It Wrong" Imperial Stout by Durty Bull. With Cocoa Powder, Ceylon Cinnamon, Vanilla, and Chocolate Buhlah Peppers. 13% ABV.

To start with it was very well balanced with no hint of the ABV and not nearly the bite of Photon Sphere by Olde Hickory. My complaint felt odd - it drinks too smoothly. As I go, it is closer to Photon Sphere (hotter and tougher, which is just fine).

So bought Kilkenny again. Was in a lower sicio economic area and it was around 33% cheaper over the counter than the last one in a CBD Irish Bar.

So creamy the mouthful is amazing. Big winner think I may have a new favorite. Beautiful amber hued ale.

Accompanied a very simple steak sandwich.

Basic but delicious after taste. Cheese, onions, BBQ sauce on grilled baguette.

Buntastic by Prairie Artisan Ales. I couldn't quite figure out what it was - not quite coconut? Then I turned the bottle around: Imperial stout with cake mix, carrot, and carrot cake flavor. And I could tell then.

I think it's better than the 88=Very Good (3.84/5) on Beer Advocate. 12.2% ABV.

Still got a few buds left over from weekend. SIL man tried one in the weekend he is a bit more "refined" than me. Said it was a bit bland taste wise but not to bad. Our crap beers are unpleasant.
