Yes, well, while you can have name recognition without actual popularity, you cannot reasonably have popularity without name recognition ("Yeah, that guy we all like! Whatshisname?"). So it can rather difficult to unentagle the two.

If you don't think popularity is a factor, I ask you to imagine how many people clicked on Teflon Billy's box without thinking, "Yeah, he's qualified, and a really cool dude too!"

That's great. Perhaps some ads to vote can be put up? I know I can't be the only one who finds it odd that the highest vote only has 220 out of some thousands of registered people.
